Building technology in timber construction - from planning to execution

The steadily growing share of timber construction in the construction industry requires specialized planning approaches, especially in building technology, which go beyond traditional methods. Innovations in materials and production have made significant progress in timber construction, but the planning of building technology is lagging behind. Architectural planners must consider building technology planning that is suitable for timber construction at an early stage and transition to the ÖBA by means of a professional and complete tendering process.

THE AIM OF THE SEMINAR IS

    • the participants from the field of architectural planning and execution the need for adaptation
of technical building installations in timber construction.
    • Planning principles and architectural design guidelines for building technology suitable for timber construction
as a basis for the TGA planning.
    • understand the particular specifics of building technology for different degrees of prefabrication and timber construction systems.
    • get an overview of normative principles and guidelines.
    • to address special challenges in tendering, execution and public works.
    • Background and introduction
    • Specific requirements for building technology in timber construction
    • Planning principles for architectural planning to enable building technology planning appropriate for timber construction
